Overview

Acid-Etch Glass

Acid-etched glass is a type of glass that has been treated with acid to create a frosted or matte finish on its surface. The acid eats away at the top layer of the glass, leaving behind a textured surface that diffuses light and provides privacy without completely obscuring the view.

The acid etching process can be done on both sides of the glass or just one, and it can be used to create intricate patterns, designs, or logos. It can also be used to create a non-slip surface on glass floors or stairs.

Acid-etched glass is commonly used in interior design for doors, windows, shower enclosures, partitions, and furniture. It is important to note that the acid etching process is potentially hazardous and should only be done by trained professionals using appropriate safety equipment.
